This is the best vacation spot, I love the bar, people are very friendly, the food is delicious, would eat it every day! I am addicted to how the houses and the tent house, the game drive, seeing buffalo, sliding and swimming, playing put put, what a wonderful weekend it was! I will come visit again soon! I will see you again in December!🤩🤩 Whether you’re looking to unwind in the woodfire hot tub, have a laugh around the fire, or just escape the hustle, this is the spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at Absolutely Wild Farm on Route 62 near Barrydale. Accommodation was first class, hospitality was first class, the decor and amenities are world class. We will be back to this beautiful off the grid farm for a nature break. One hot water pool undercover and two more pools, where kids and adult water slides end and a massive 850m² indoor play park adds to the attraction and the wildlife is out of this world!

Wow! What an awesome place! The staff went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. The private caravan site is top notch and the heated pool was an absolute bonus to use in the evening. This resort is definitely worth visiting and we'll definitely be back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Wild – the name says it all! We spent the weekend at Absolutely Wild on the R62 in Barrydale and wow — what a place! There’s something for everyone. The hot and cold water pools are spotless and inviting, and the massive indoor kiddies entertainment area kept the little ones busy for hours — putt-putt, inflatables, you name it, all safely under one roof. The bar is fully stocked, the food is fantastic, and the pizza oven (a proper big wood-fired one!) turns out some of the best pizzas around. Burgers, snacks, proper meals — everything’s freshly made and full of flavour. Accommodation-wise, they’ve thought of everyone: camping sites with private ablutions, luxury tents with jacuzzis, and even two-bedroom houses with everything you need. Clean, comfortable, and peaceful. And the wildlife — honestly, it’s something special. Buffalo, antelope, sheep, donkeys — it feels like you’re right in the middle of nature but with all the comforts of a resort. If you’re traveling along the R62, make sure to stop here.
