Canning Perennials is a fabulous place to obtain plants online. The plants are large and healthy and arrive well hydrated. The website is easy to navigate and selection is vast with many hard to obtain plants. I am always impressed by the customer service provided by Chris, who I believe is the owner. Prompt replies to email and fast attention to any change to orders. Recently the post office could not guarantee fast delivery so Chris had the plants sent by courier to ensure safe arrival. This was at considerable expense to her business and much appreciated. I have now ordered from Canning several times and will continue to do so.
I found this place with an on line search last year in January and took a chance ordering some plants. Turns out it was the best decision! Got the plants in May and all grew very well. This year - ALL OF THEM have grown substantially and are very healthy! The plant in the pic was in a 6 inch pot when I got it - it truly has quadrupled in size! Will definitely purchase more when I expand my gardens!
Very happy! First, Canning Perennials was the only place in Canada that had stock in my preferred hydrangea, that could ship to me. No one in Calgary carried it. Second, plants arrived today, still with damp roots wrapped in newspaper and plastic and more newspaper, after being shipped Canada Post from Ontario to Calgary. Just planted them and they look healthy, should be good!
I have been with Chris Lepard and her company Canning Perennials for many years now and I can't say enough about the excellent service and the fantastic plants I receive from Canning. The plants are so healthy and large , it is as if you have just got them through a nursery you have visited in real time, but these are delivered to your door which is so convenient ! Chris goes above and beyond with customer service and wants to ensure that her customers are very happy. We purchased plants from Canning for the first time this year. When one of the items we ordered was not available, Chris suggested something else that worked well.
