What a nice surprise I had yesterday while shopping for a small Tiffany-style lamp! I ended up at the ''Exotic Fruits Nursery'' in Lunenburg. This greenhouse is simply wonderful, calm, and charming even at this time of year. Annette, the owner, is very welcoming, and you can feel her pleasure in sharing her passion and knowledge. The gift shop is full of marvelous little things perfect for X-Mas time! Congratulations on this inspiring project! I surely recommend it.
This nursery is a gem ! Annette is knowledgeable and helped me choose the right plants for my needs ! Such a beautiful place ! Thanks again for the visit of the greenhouse too.
Such a great experience the effect of just walking through the greenhouse is an instant calming effect. I learned so much from Annette about the plethora of gorgeous plants and their off grid living. I can’t recommend enough, my family are big into gardening so we book a tour whenever we have visitors and they absolutely adore it! Worth a trip if you are looking to pick up some exotic plants, also has the opportunity to sit in on a workshop on table grapes and I can’t wait to Grow my own
I visited the Exotic Fruit Nursery with my friends today (July 14) and was blown away with the tour. The owner has grown an impressive collection of fruit trees that I hadn't even imagined could grow in the Nova Scotian climate, near the ocean no less. I enjoyed the tour and learned so much. All questions were welcomed. Highly recommend
My girlfriend and I stayed at the Airbnb next door, and did the tour for $25. I will say it is definitely worth the money. The tour is roughly 1.5-2hrs long with a taste test aswell. Honestly had a great time and we recommend everyone to try it. Annette is amazing and pours her heart into her craft. The gift shop is also very unique and priced well.
