Fernwood is the place for plants! Not only do you get to enjoy the fruits of Denise’s Labor, you’ll receive a great source of knowledge on the plants you buy. The atmosphere is like something out of a fairytale book. It was worth the 5 hour drive. I’ll be back for sure.
Authetic; going to the owner's yard into a magical garden! Unique and creative besides offering well maintained inventory. Ran across this hidden gem while driving back from Acadia Park. They have a seriously incredible selection of ornamental and native plants along with a beautiful display garden. Tons of unique cultivars and species that I haven't seen before. I highly recommend stopping by.
Stopped by to take a quick look at their nursery offerings and was bowled over by their garden displays. Many shade loving plants including some native perennials. If you go (recommend you do!) give yourself a good hour to explore the gardens and nursery stock.
