Stopped by as someone who’s only ever owned a couple plants, have no idea what’s going on, and I leave with a new plant buddy, along with being informed on how to take care of it! Definitely going to be coming back.
It looked so cool and kitschy driving up. I thought I was in for a treat, but I was really disappointed. If you want a chiminea, pinion wood, or a decorative (albeit very pricey) planter pot, this is your place. If you want a houseplant, you will have a 2' x 2' selection in a teeny tiny shop, and the plants they do have are all really overpriced. I saw a 4" calathea Stella for $24. The other plants were common and overpriced as well. The worst part was there was a barefoot girl sprawled out reading a book in the middle of the floor when I entered, and the inside of the place is TINY. She quickly sat up and criss-crossed her legs, but remained in the floor, so if I *had* been there for incense or something other than plants, I'd have had to ask her to move. She never so much as glanced up at me. Lastly, the kid working the counter was, let's say, less than enthusiastic or interested in helping or making a sale. Needless to say, with all the reviews, I was hopeful by stopping and left feeling like I'd majorly wasted my time. Don't go here for plants. Only stop if you want chimineas, pinion wood, or incense. This is hardly a nursery.
Super friendly staff. My husband always wanted a Chiminea and this place has the largest selection I have ever seen. I learned that you put sand in the bottom to start out with. They have the wood and many styles of chiminea. They have fragrant sticks and smudge. They have herbs and some fun stuff for the yard. Small but great
🌼🪴 🪵 I LOVE the Talevera Mexican pots here! We also get our pinion wood here. The prices on the pots are a bit high, but I can get them while I'm visiting family in New Mexico at a much better price, so that might not be fair for me to say they're high. Oh, also lots of cool chimenea's!
Love the name so much that I had to make it a point to stop in. Glad I did, rather unique plants and flowers here at this garden shop. Gal who was working helpful and friendly. Found myself 2 unique new ones and a sweet basil plant to use in my cooking. Will be back for some of your delicious smelling Pinon firewood.
