When they say cold hardy, they mean it! I nervously planted some starts this spring right before the low temps dipped back to the teens and 20s with rain and snow, and all the babies are doing just fine. I traveled from Fort Collins because this is the only nursery that carries the native plants I needed, like Howard's evening primrose. Also, it's the only nursery that made sure plants were cold hardy AND clearly labeled native/non-native plants. For all the push towards xeric and native plants by my city, this is the only nursery (and it's not even in my city) that has impressed me with how easy they made it to find what I needed.

Harlequin's is an incredibly special place. This is perhaps the most intentional plant nursery I have ever come across! I have purchased many plant starts and lots of soil. I love knowing that the plants offered are all pesticide-free. I learn more about native plants each time I go just from browsing the aisles. The classes offered here are also a huge gift - not just for the knowledge of gardening, but for the feeling of being connected to other people in the community. This is your go-to place to learn how to work in harmony with our surrounding plants and land!

A great community resource with good prices and an amazing selection of native plants, shrubs and trees. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The owners work hard to do theirs share of keeping our planet healthy while taking care of their employees. I have enjoyed attending a few or their many garden classes. Looking forwards to more visits this spring. Thank you Harlequin's Gardens!

This is a lovely place and the owner is awesome and so helpful! However, the staff made a mistake and inadvertently put 3 plants that I did not select in my boxes which I purchased and later noticed and called and emailed about w no resolution. I can’t speak for the plants themselves as this is my first time buying here but so far, they are hardening just fine and I look forward to planting in a few days and watching them thrive.

This garden center should be the benchmark for all others. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. I love the opportunity to stroll around and observe the plants they sell in action. They specialize in plants that thrive in our climate, as evidenced by their impressive landscaping. Everything I’ve purchased from them has flourished so far. Last year, I removed my lawn and have thoroughly enjoyed filling my new blank canvas with native plants. I can relax and be certain that the plants I buy from them are either native or non-invasive. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same about other garden centers in the area that sell plants on the Colorado noxious and invasive plant list. You must give these guys a chance. I’ll definitely be returning.
