Yes, they may make you wait. I ordered in July & they told me they'd ship in Dec. ?? (I was charged in July) I get waiting until they're dormant, but... Anyway, they did arrive as promised and these were some of the healthiest looking root systems I've ever seen.

I ordered che trees, flying dragon tree, and an asian pear. They emailed me almost immediately about my order. You do need to read the shipping and payment info on the web page as a heads up. I would like to see a better way of tracking my orders is my only suggestion.

Love, Love this nursery. This nursery keeps things simple by growing only reliable plants for the Mid Atlantic Region. Mr. & Mrs Black (who own the nursery) have contributed a lot of quality genetics to the growing community for decades. Their plants are low in price and have all thrived for me. As for Ark's comment, most niche nurseries ship plants in the spring/fall and do so with bare root plants. Dormant season is the best season to plant woody plants. This nursery is managing quality control and business operations by doing two main shipping windows per year. Their approach actually is an indication of high competence.

I've ordered a LOT of plants this year from 8 or 9 different nurseries. The plants I got from Hidden Springs Nursery were some of the best, both in terms of quality and packing for the shipping (which was super fast). Communication after placing the order was good. I'm excited about the variety of fruits and native plants that I've planted this year. I'll be recommending this nursery to friends.

I received my first order from this company and I couldn't be more happy! The 6 trees arrived well packaged, the roots were kept moist in transit and the buds were plump and healthy. They have a fantastic selection of hard to find fruiting plants and the pricing is very reasonable! They're also great with communication about shipping schedule and they include planting and care instructions. Overall this was a great experience!
