wow! what a special place! everyone who helped me out was charming, knowledgeable, and kind. they shared the names of plants in olelo hawaii too, which i appreciate. they had a magical selection of native plants at really friendly prices. i feel it is so important to continue to protect and cultivate the native plants here on the islands and i was so delighted to find a plant nursery this side of the island in my family’s neighborhood. lucky for me it’s only a five minute drive away! but DEF worth a drive if you’re not nearby! again, the prices were great for what you’re getting. this is such a valuable resource and not to be missed if you are a gardener or landscaper, or if you’re just looking to add more beauty to your home while also supporting the native ecosystem here. thank you to everyone at hui ku maoli ola! keep doing what you’re doing!
This property isn't just wonderful but the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. A rare combination to find when discussing plants and their care. They have established landscaping with many of the plants they sell so you can see what it grows into. Also some great advice on how to care for them and different ways to trim. Strongly recommend for any plant enthusiast and an absolute must visit for anyone who cares about Hawaii's natural native ecosystem. We will be going again.
Located in the bosom of Haiku Valley at 46-403 Haiku Rd, Kaneohe, HI 96744 You can just inhale the beauty as you stroll through their Nursery Mon-Fri 7:30am-4pm! My favorite place for native plants! They do what they do for all the right reasons! From providing native plants to habitat restoration they provide their expertise when it comes to Native Hawaiian Plants!
We were greeted upon arrival and everyone was so nice. We had an idea of what we were looking for, but they explained certain plants that would best handle where we live on island. They were so patient and helpful! The plants were well priced and well taken care of. We will definitely be back soon!
