My go-to greenhouse for hostas, succulents, and hard to find plants. They have a whole greenhouse for succulents of all kinds, as well as the largest hosta selection I've seen. Lots of houseplants and perennials available and plants are healthy. They host fun workshops, and Josh is so knowledgeable and always happy to help. Worth the drive out!!
I love love love this place!!!!! It's 143 miles away from me, but worth every minute of the drive. Wonderful owners, friendly service and great healthy plants. I just received a shipment I ordered online. The grasses I ordered look great, were well packaged and arrived quickly. All the plants I have bought from them over the past several years are still thriving and looking great in my garden. Thank you, In the Country Garden & Gifts, for the great job you do. .
If you need Hostas or information on growing hostas - this is the place!
I drove about 2.5 hours to visit this garden center about 1 month ago due to rave reviews on a couple plant Facebook pages I am a part of. I love houseplants and they did not disappoint! I was able to get several wishlist plants including a variegated rubber plant (tineke), Alocasia black velvet (with HUGE new leaf pictured), string of hearts, string of turtles, variegated string of hearts, and a couple of pines we are making into bonsai trees! All of the plants we bought were 100% healthy, no pests, and are putting out tons of new growth since bringing them home. Could not recommend this garden center enough, I want to come back to visit! (They also had an ENORMOUS selection of outdoor plants if you are into that!)
Lovely store located between Independence and Quasqueton. They have a lot of perennials, succulents, and hostas. Was very impressed with the quality of the plants, very healthy! Had to look up some of the plants because I never heard of some. They have an unique collection to choose from. Very happy with my purchase! Recommend checking this place out.
