A special THANKS to Cindy with Johnny Appleseed in Casper WY, you are wonderful to work with! Helped with gorgeous Red Christmas Cactus that I'm sending to a special friend that's a Travel Radiologist Tech. This beautiful plant will brighten her day! Rounsavilles in Fairhope ALABAMA
Very cozy set up. They take good care of their plants and staff is very friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable as well! I would highly recommend going here if you enjoy gardening.
Beautiful plants and friendly knowledgeable staff! Excellent potting soil too! Way better then Gelles where I paid $100 for a yard of "soil" last year that had only 4 nitrogen and was hydrophobic killing every tomato plant I had in it!!🥺 Gelles bagged soil is awful too... Casper dumps compost tested a hundred times better for $25. a yard. No way I would ever trust their plants after this experience. 28 years of vegetable and ornamental gardening and Johnny Appleseed is the best I have found in Casper and they care. My plants from last year are even more beautiful then last year and I expect this year will be the same. Moved here in 2019 after being widowed and I am thankful for Johnny's!💜
We ordered an arrangement that would be able to live on for years, and Cindy delivered with extraordinary colors and plants placed together in a one of a kind unique display of nature's beauty. They delivered right away, and the whole process was done professionally and beautifully.
I had some questions on a variegated plant and the gal working there couldn’t be more bothered when I was trying to learn about the plant. They were busy with a flower order so I just accounted the short and mean toned answers to that. I picked out this really pretty and tall variegated schefflera… I noticed some really dense white fuzzy stuff on a stem. I thought initially maybe spider mites since they spin webs. When I asked about it, it was just wiped off super fast and I was told it was cotton. There was a back story about it blowing in the greenhouse and it was believable. I’m sure that does happen. However, when I took my plant home, I put it away from my other plants to quarantine, as one does when you introduce a new plant to your others. I inspected the leaves and found a small infestation of mealy bugs!! I don’t appreciate being lied to about it when I asked. All pests can be dealt with but transparency at the start when asked about it is a good way to go. Even recommended remedies for removing pests would have been appreciated. It was a new day and I was hoping for a more positive customer service interaction when I came in. They could have just had a bad day the time before. I was able to take them back and get a full refund. That is why I put two stars. I showed the videos I took just to prove that there are mealys on the leaves. In addition to pointing some out in person. I walked up and said “Good morning! “ with a smile and got nothing back. I got no apologies for the lying and no kindness. Short answers and an unwelcoming attitude. Customer service matters!!! There are a beautiful variety of house plants here and I’m sure not all have pests but inspect the plants before you buy. I hope in the future there are positive interactions!
