Turning a hobby into a business that encourages responsible gardening is an awesome attempt. These people were helpful, knowledgeable, and had a good selection of plants grown in house. Talking with them was a delight. And they had a pretty wide range of assortment for things you might want. Warning this is not a huge Enterprise so you will probably have to deal with a lot of personal attention from the owners. So that is a good thing to me at least. It's a grave drive out there and if you pick the right route back home it's a good one back home too so it's worth a trip prices are good and it's a mom and pop so I don't know if you're looking for fancy don't go there if you're looking for help and certain plants definitely check it out

I finally visited the nursery today and my only regret is that I didn't come years ago. They have an incredible selection of awesome native plants, plus all the knowledge and tips you could ever need to make the right selections for your property. Having a great resource like this nursery right down the road really makes it easy to create native plant havens in your yard. I might have to make some more flower beds, just so I have a good excuse to come back again!

We visited Pollinator Friendly Nursery recently. It is a wonderful nursery in Delafield that has native Wisconsin plants. Karen & Jim were very helpful. We enjoyed walking around and seeing their garden as well as buying a number of plants. We will be back!

The Pollinator Friendly Nursery is an enjoyable visit. They carry a wide variety of starter plants supporting butterflies, moths and bees. It was a nice surprise to find the Mexican Sunflower plant and Pearl Everlasting. The Mexican Sunflower plants provides nectar until the first frost. The Image added is of an example of how the largest butterfly, the Giant Swallowtail, readily feeds on a Mexican Sunflower.

If you’re looking to restore some of your yard with native plants, this is your place. They have 80 or more native varieties, all the good stuff. Very affordable - best deal I’ve seen by far, better than anything else local or online. And kind, patient guidance and personalized recommendations - bring photos of your garden, they know their stuff and can help. These are first year winter sown plants - not full grown, but will generally root this year, flower next year and develop over time. Definitely worth the trip from Milwaukee.
