Great selection, plants are always healthy. I have ordered online many times and have also made a few trips in person during their retail hours. Nicole at the retail nursery was very helpful on my most recent visit.
The brothers are inspirational! The prices are always shockingly reasonable, even “cheap” but the plant you get will not be second rate! In fact it’ll be a much healthier plant, with roots like you’ve seen! When you plant these they’re going to outgrow any competitions plants. You could spend the rest of your life looking for a native plant nursery of this quality without finding one. I’m considering a 6 hour drive to visit them. I’ve heard you can ever just walk in and say “ I’m not buying, I just want to look” you’ll be welcomed, if you instead “ I just wanna learn and talk about these plants” then your gunna get to talk to them about plants, learn from them, not spend a dime and their still very happy to have you! “Eh! Yous guys! Tony sent me! “Crime pays but botany doesn’t” Sadly the channel name is true, but we can change that if we just put in some time to learn, then apply that knowledge in life… in your yard, or just planting up your local parks or road sides without permission… get out there and get it done! KILL YOUR LAWN!
The packaging for the gallon pots is genius, the plants arrived in such great shape. They even included a card with directions for planting in the fall/winter. I ordered a tree and two shrubs and all three are very healthy and had great root systems. I will definitely order from here again when I want more trees and shrubs!
Huge selection and a great staff. Had some ideas going in and talked to three different people there about what I was working on. All were very friendly and knowledgeable about the trees they have and what would fit my situation. The all native plant selection is incredible and they have lots of trees and plants that are hard to find at any other store. The Prices are very reasonable as well.
Customer service was fantastic. I called a week ago about some American Bittersweet and stuttered so bad I accidently called it Oriental Bittersweet. Which is highly invasive. I was so worried I was about to get talked down to for that. But they were very kind about my stuttering and mistake. I knew what I was looking for and asked a billion questions and they were very kind about it. When my plants arrived I couldn't have been happier. They showed up very well packaged and minimally damaged. The quality could not have been better! Beautiful Bittersweets, a Juneberry, and an Illinois rose. I have had so many issues with other nurseries sending horribly beaten up plants and it may have just been the shipper. But I was thoroughly impressed. Absolutely will be ordering again next spring.
