Is this place a reasonable distance, yes? Is this place one of the best locations to get your plants, yes. I and my master gardener friends adore this place. if you are looking for azaleas or encore azaleas, they have 2 dedicated green houses that are about a hundred meters long for each of them for a total of four green houses with nothing but beautiful azaleas. If you are looking for a specific perennial or annual, this is your best bet. They are also a good source of mulch, dirt, soil, gravel. They're local and you can even pilots your own golf carts - responsibly I hear - as they have several for customers because the place is so big. As you can see from the pictures, they also have full line of garden implements as well as electronics for gardening and a very knowledgeable staff to help you with your questions. It sounds like I'm over selling this place, but I'm fairly confident that anyone who likes gardening and plants the way I do will love this place.

I was so late in getting my pansies this year and was afraid I would have to have a winter without. RV had just gotten a new appointment and they were/are so beautiful. The staff is great and always so helpful.

It was pouring rain today, I think I was the only visitor at that time. Walked into the office and Kevin greeted me and offered assistance. I explained exactly what I was looking for and Kevin directed me to the plants I was looking for and gave me an umbrella for the journey, he also sent someone on a cart to meet me there. The assistant loaded my 4 plants onto the cart, ran them back to check out and then helped load them into my car. Flawless service. I look forward to going back and exploring the facility on a nice day.

The River Valley HP crew went above and beyond to make sure my bulk purchase order went smoothly - they helped strap down the trees we purchased and helped me make sure we made the right purchase for the right application as an end-user (not for resale). Kevin the Ops Manager did a great job setting my wholesale account to earn my business. All around - highly recommend this nursery - worth the 1.5 hr one way drive for the savings and quality of products and service. No kick-backs received for this review. 😂🙏🏼
