Soil and Soul Nursery Exotic Plant Shop

Love this shop for all things plants! I’m not a green thumb but these ladies can help even me figure out how actually make my houseplants thrive! Bonsai workshops are so much fun too, Marie is a great host.

Lovely little shop. Healthy plants. Knowledgeable staff. Go inside; have a look around-- rearrange your mind in a pleasant way for a few moments before you walk back out into that seething thing with its deadlines and emails. I have to amend this review to emphasize that the staff here really goes above and beyond. It's clear how much they care about their plants and about providing the best customer service possible. Truly exceptional.

Pink princesses, white knights, painted ladies, rings of fire, silver swords. Soil and soul has it all, on top of all you could ever need to get your plant nook(s) looking top notch - lighting, fertilizers, and pots (with drainage!!!!). Marie is the owner and she is truly a plant whisperer and has a heart of gold. If you ever have plant troubles, GO TO HER. She’s also willing to give you plant advice over the phone, and when she’s not there the employees are AMAZING. I was terrified about propagating an offshoot of a Pink Princess and she held my hand throughout the entire process. I drive a little over an hour just to come here. You NEED to visit. Pardon all my dirt, but here are some of my babies from this lovely little gem of a shop.

When you first see this shop, you will be enamored with the homey feel it gives you. Then as you walk in, happiness just exudes from every square inch. They have plants for every type of plant lover. The staff will make you feel like an expert as they explain the light and moisture needs of everything green in their space. The workshops are fun and informational and you always walk away with something beautiful. I walked up yesterday with a new container, no appointment or advanced notice, and Marie helped me build a thriving terrarium. I enjoyed every moment she took with me as she guided me through the process. Soil and Soul is more than a plant shop, it’s a place to feel at home.

Walked into this cute shop last week on the hunt for a pitcher plant and walked out feeling like I gained a few new friends! They have the nicest staff, are very knowledgeable, and so willing to help. I am new to the plant world, but feel more confident in gaining a green thumb with these ladies on my side! I am even considering letting them repot and babysit one of my plants that needs extra love. Excited to grow my plant family more with their help!
