The quality and prices are fantastic and the service is exceptional. Plus it feels good to support a small locally owned business. I love this place!
Knowledgeable. Helpful. Good quality plants. Good resources (since native plants can be confusing for neophytes). No overselling. No rubbish plants. No “nativars.” Just the real deal. Local business. Women owned. I could not ask for anything else in a native nursery. Caveat to new gardeners: Make sure to protect your plants from rabbits. I lost a lot through this “lesson learned.”
Sweet spot- Athena is super knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to choosing plants- especially if you’re a newbie! Beautiful hoop house with lots of variety and information/pictures posted for each plant. Absolutely worth a stop!
Had a very nice experience there. A lot of healthy plants for various conditions (dry- moist, sun-shade, blooming times). Everything labeled very well, so one can choose quickly. An owner is knowledgeable and helpful. Plants are larger in size than, say, from yhe arboretum plant sale which means more viable.
We are more than pleased with both our experience with Two Ferns and also the plants. Athena and Amy were wonderful to work with and the plants all took well and all came back the second year. Our yard is transformed with natives and we couldn't be happier. We can came back last fall for fall plantings and will be back again this season. All growth in the photos are a single season from plugs.
