About

The Native Plant Society of British Columbia is a community-driven organization dedicated to advancing knowledge, appreciation, and conservation of British Columbia's native plants and habitats. Founded in 1997, NPSBC brings together naturalists, gardeners, botanists, biologists, forest ecologists, and plant propagators who share a passion for native plant stewardship. The organization works to increase public awareness of native plant values, promote ethical plant use, and support habitat restoration initiatives across the province. Through research support, inter-organizational communication, and educational outreach, NPSBC empowers individuals and communities to make informed decisions about native plant conservation while fostering a commitment to environmental responsibility.
