Native Plant Society

About

Wild Ones Arrowhead Chapter is dedicated to healing the earth one yard at a time through native plant education and landscaping in the Minnesota Arrowhead region and northwestern Wisconsin. Founded in 2000, the chapter promotes biodiversity and environmentally sound practices by sharing knowledge about the benefits of preserving and landscaping with native plants that define the natural beauty of the Arrowhead region. Through monthly educational meetings, field trips, member garden tours, and a demonstration garden at Leif Erikson Park, Wild Ones Arrowhead Chapter engages the community in understanding and implementing native plant conservation. By fostering a sense of place through native species, the chapter inspires residents to transform their yards into thriving ecosystems that support local wildlife and promote ecological health.
