About

Wild Ones Mountain State Chapter is part of the national Wild Ones: Native Plants, Natural Landscapes organization, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting the use of native plants and natural landscapes. Based in Charleston, West Virginia, this chapter works to advance native plant conservation and ecological restoration in the Mountain State region. Wild Ones empowers local community members to create certified native habitats, participate in habitat restoration projects, and develop sustainable native gardens that support local wildlife and pollinators. Through membership programs, volunteer opportunities, educational webinars, native garden plans, and community events, Wild Ones Mountain State Chapter helps residents and organizations transform their landscapes into thriving ecosystems that benefit monarchs, pollinators, and native wildlife while reducing environmental impact.
