Wild Ones St. Louis Chapter

St. Louis, MO

Native Plant Society

About

Wild Ones St. Louis is one of the largest native plant gardening chapters in the United States, dedicated to connecting people and native plants for a healthy planet since 1998. The organization addresses the urgent need for native plant habitat as urban development fragments the environmental landscape, making it increasingly difficult for butterflies, birds, bees, and other wildlife to find the plants they depend on for survival. Through monthly newsletters, community gatherings, educational workshops, and native plant grants, Wild Ones St. Louis empowers homeowners throughout the St. Louis region to transform their landscapes into thriving native plant gardens. The chapter collaborates with regional partners to host signature events including the annual St. Louis Native Plant Garden Tour and Partners for Native Landscaping Workshop, while maintaining an annual plant sale that funds their mission-driven conservation work.
