About

Wild Ones Tampa Bay Chapter is a local affiliate of Wild Ones: Native Plants, Natural Landscapes, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the use of native plants in natural landscapes. The organization empowers Tampa Bay residents and communities to restore local ecosystems by replacing conventional landscaping with native plant gardens that support wildlife, particularly pollinators like monarchs. Through educational programs, certified native habitat initiatives, and community engagement, Wild Ones Tampa Bay helps individuals and organizations understand the ecological importance of native plants while providing resources and guidance for creating sustainable, low-maintenance landscapes. Members can participate in volunteer opportunities, attend webinars and educational events, access native garden plans, and contribute to broader conservation efforts that enhance local biodiversity and environmental health.
