About

The Wyoming Native Plant Society (WYNPS) is dedicated to promoting the appreciation and conservation of Wyoming's native flora and plant communities. Based in Laramie, the organization advances its mission through education, research, communication, and hands-on field experiences. WYNPS engages the community through annual summer field trips, native plant walks throughout the state, and virtual events designed to deepen understanding of Wyoming's unique botanical heritage. The organization welcomes individuals, families, and institutions to join in celebrating and protecting the state's native plant life. Members gain access to exclusive resources, including interactive plant identification tools, gardening guides for native species and pollinators, and the organization's quarterly publication, Castilleja.
