I love Blue Stem Natives. There is no other store like this around. The mission is fantastic. Their knowledge and customer service is extraordinary. And their product speaks for itself. Even for plants that are not in full bloom, they showcase detailed photos and facts so you know just what you are getting. Plus their website is extremely helpful. Highly recommended.
Huge fan of Blue Stem Natives. I went to the Cape Cod pop-up last year, and the winter pop-up a couple months later. Finally got to visit when they’re fully set up, and it was great. Tons of selection, and the plants all look healthy and very well cared for. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and their website has so much great info. I ordered two pollinator garden kits from Blue Stem Natives over the winter, and picked them up yesterday. Look at the roots on this cardinal flower - just incredible. Very grateful to have a great store and resource in the area while I transition a couple gardens into native plants. Their website has an e-book for sale about designing a pollinator garden, that was really reasonably priced and had a lot of info and tips. Would rate them 6 stars if I could.
Wonderful source of native plants and bushes. Excellent labeling and instructions, friendly knowledgeable staff. Female run business. Not open in winter. Good web site for plant and other info. Pre-order available for spring. Seeds and sundry available when open. The nursery is way at the back of the lot with other businesses in front.
great selection of native plants and seeds with local ecotypes, some rare or hard to otherwise find. super helpful and kind staff. beautiful nursery and would 100% recommend. also have helpful educational content on seed sowing and local ecotypes. i found descriptions of plants’ needs helpful. gift shop is small but has an awesome, very cute selection and feels homey.
