Over the years, we have bought many plants from HS and have never been disappointed. The service is excellent and we love the fact that you can get an assortment of MI native plants. It is worth the two hour trip for us.
Beautiful plants and friendly staff! They have an amazing selection of native plants. This is my third year purchasing from them and my garden has never looked better. The pollinators and the birds love it!
What a gem! I traveled over an hour on their first spring day. The owners are fabulous. They showed us around their house/yard to point out some of the plants I was interested in. I went with a list and was happy to leave with most of the ones I wanted. 2 plants I will go back for in about a month. Be prepared for the weather. The plants are outside and under a small canopy. This is a mom and pop type shop- with the benefits of very knowledgeable and friendly gardeners. I am a beginner gardener and I am grateful to have people like this to learn from. I was happy to spend just a little over my budget and look forward to going back!
Very knowledgeable owner. I am glad you are in the Oshtemo area. Wonderful selection of Michigan native plants!
I traveled from mid state to search for native species in 2018. Not that many around. Planted them and got them established. I did lose one or two since. Had to transplant a couple to a better spot in the yard. I want to get back for more for more natives! Staff was very knowledgeable. Picture of my asters.
