I absolutely love Horsford Gardens and Nursery and have been an annual customer since 2007, buying their gorgeous balsam Christmas wreaths for family members and friends. Not only are the wreaths fragrant and fresh and verdant, the customer service is superb. An example would be today, when I received a call confirming the shipping addresses for this year's wreath gifts (thank you, Paige!). Not only did she deem it an important clarification, she also took the time to reason through the addresses and ensure that the wreaths were indeed going to the proper locations across the US. This type of contact is rare these days, and I am happy to spotlight it. The quality of their wreaths - both the health of the boughs and the artistry of their arrangement - is top-notch. You will be very satisfied with Horsford for your Christmas wreath purchases!
I’ve been trying to find a cypress tree for a very long time. I called Horsdords a while back and Faith told me they didnt have any at the time but they will soon. She called me back a few weeks later and said they have one. I drove out there and she gave me a tour and showed me the cypress. It’s was the perfect size and so stoked to get it. Most of all Faith went above and beyond to help me get one. Brynn(don’t know if I spelled that correct) also came through in the end to help as well. Thanks for the great customer service and tree!!
This is one of my favorite garden centers in the eastern seaboard. I live in Erie pa. But, make at least one trip a year to come check out this garden center. My car stops at garden centers and antique stores. Every year I find a few new perennials for my gardens. The setting is wonderful, the gardens are great, the staff always appear to love what they do and are always very helpful.
An absolutely beautiful nursery with lots of amazing options. I worked with Sarah and she was incredibly helpful and knowledgable about what I was looking for and really put a lot of time into ensuring my questions were answered and got what I needed. Tucker and team did the installation- they were professional, very nice, and timely. Highly recommend!
This historic site not only has a great selection of Vermont-tested plants, but a beautiful location to be inspired by them all.
