I first got my plants there last year. I have always looked, but but never stopped. Instead, I drove on to get annuals. Last year I went at the end of the season to find daisies. I didn’t care if they were dying, I wanted them to come up this year. The daughter (sorry, I don’t know names there) was on her way to work, the dad wasn’t able to come out right then. Did I see an open flag?? Nope! The daughter took her time and answered all my questions as I was getting more and more knowledge about what it was that I should get. I was picking out stuff left & right! She filled the wagon with my treasure’s, then politely said she had to rush off for work, so her dad would finish helping me. I had such a great experience there, that this year I kept driving by waiting for that “OPEN” flag. I’ve been there 3 times already and I know I’m not done! The owner (the dad) is very helpful and attentive! I would recommend this little Mom & POP shop on North St in East Brookfield to EVERYONE that want perennials! Remember it’s cheaper in the long run! Every year you can add to what you have instead of replacing what you had!
We've been buying perennials here for 15 years. We come here first. Wide selection, good prices, expert advice. Especially nice selection of HOSTA. Also supply bird feeding products and excellent wind chimes.
I have been to this place a handful of times per year and I think close to 3 years now. It’s a small nursery run out of their home based property. There is 3-4ish. Parking spots along the side of the road. Easy parking. They have some nice plant choices. Friendly service and good knowledge on the plants they sell. The prices are average prices/fair. I have found a lot of weeds in the potted plants, I think they are overwhelmed a bit but otherwise my experiences there have been pretty good. I do and have suggested this place to others and I plan on coming back soon.
I love going to inishowen farms. Although I live in Brookline, mass it is well worth the drive. The plants are hearty and always return the next season. The variety is tremendous and more diverse than other places I've been locally. Mark and Tammy are incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. They couldn't be any nicer. My family, friends and neighbors are so happy with how beautiful our yard looks, and enjoy the birds, bees, butterfly's that the variety of plants feed. Thankyou Mark and Tammy for all the years of helping us create our happy place.
One of my favorite perennials, is the succulent. Sedum, Stonecrop, Chicks and Hens. All from a local nursery. 👉 Inishowen Farms has been a favorite stop for me. Located in the Brookfields, it is a short trip for such great plants. 😊 💛💙
