I ordered 4 huckleberries this spring. One arrived dead. I reported it immediately and days later Kurt told me wait to see if it sprang to life out of dormancy. It is still dead!! Kurt said he would replace it nearly two months ago. I haven't heard a word since. They don't answer their phone or my emails. Maybe this will get Kurt's attention!
My order just got delivered. Packaging was top tier. I have never seen plants packed this well and have been ordering plants online for years. Plants arrived healthy and undamaged. Love this place and their native plants!
I wasn't sure what to expect with ordering plants online, but I just couldn't find what I was looking for locally. I have to say I am so impressed. I bought 2 huckleberry plants and they arrived in pristine condition. I was given step by step instructions for their unboxing and care. Now they are loving their new home in Cincinnati. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Native Foods Nursery.
I love these guys. I have ordered from them before and their plants are wonderful. Their plants are of high quality (I left some of them in less than ideal conditions for a while, but they kept growing) and grow really well. They ship with so much care as well, the plants are alright even after a long journey. I also appreciate how many native varieties they have and how they are so careful to stock only native varieties. It takes courage to not give in and stock some fast growing non natives or the popular plants. I know it is not easy to do what you folks do, I wish you much success.
We ordered two Juneberries and they very kindly added a third for free! The plants journeyed across the country to us and arrived looking healthy. The packaging is very impressive and protects the plants so well. Customer service representatives are patient and very helpful. We will be ordering more plants from them in the future.
