I've bought many of Laura's native plants for myself, and plant shopped for friends. Very impressed with the quality of her natives! Here's just one garden where I've planted some natives from Peacock Valley. Should be full of blooms and filled in over the next few years! EDIT: Adding a pic to show these plants in their second year!
She is very knowledgeable about the plants and helpful with suggestions and answering customers' questions. I purchased native pollinator plants such a butterfly milkweed, bee balm and also some beautiful echinacea. She is great to work with, and also responses promptly to questions on fb messenger! Easy to find her when she is set up to sell; she posts frequently on the fb page. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for native plants.
They have an amazing selection of natives and cultivars. I now have 7 different colors of coneflower and some amazing true native plants for my journey towards creating a safe place for all pollinators. Update: these amazing plants attracted monarchs and they laid eggs! My husband and I have never seen so many beneficial bugs in the 6 years we’ve lived here.
Let me start by saying that Laura has been nothing but kind and informative. Peacock Valley Nursery is beautiful, just like the work they do. They are one of the only places close to our area shown on the Indiana Native Plant Society's site and their selection of Indiana Natives were just what we were looking for. They have more than just natives and you can contact them online or via Facebook to start. Highly recommend this beautiful place and be sure to note that going to the nursery is by appointment only, so be sure to reach out beforehand to ensure the best customer experience. They have been wonderful, the place is amazing, and we will absolutely be returning and providing business here ☺ Update: All the plants we have purchased are doing so well and it is the most grateful "thanks" to this place being our nursery and helping us get our property certified as an Indiana Natives Garden by the Indiana Native Plant Society!
