It's one of my favorite places to order plants from extremely reliable, kind, and wonderful plants. If you're local to Bloomington, you can pick up too, to avoid shipping.
Extremely impressed with quality and pricing of this company. Their fall sale is everything. Best selection of Nativars and Natives I have found outside of Juniper Level Botanic Gardens. I look forward to buying yearly.
I purchased small native plants (4”) from US perennials in April. The plants were healthy and high-quality and established immediately. they are thriving now on July 1. Their grounds are beautiful and worth a visit in their own right.
Shipped to our home in Southeast Michigan extremely quickly (important for keeping these perennials alive). All plants were thoughtfully packaged and clearly vigorously rooted. Their selection is top notch, very big fan of all the North American native options- but I'm also a sucker for their Cobalt Dreams Delphinium. Good place to look at for those harder to find perennials.
I order plants routinely for my large garden online. I'm used to purchasing small plants that grow in place. I ordered 16 plants from US Perennials in August - my first purchase with them. They arrived in mid-September (perfect planting time in my region) in two well-packed boxes and swiftly recovered in the shade the next day. Well, all except for the lone Japanese anemone I had ordered. It continued to brown and shriveled completely by the next day - I think it must have experienced some heat in the shipping that it couldn't recover from but the other plants weren't phased by. I wrote US Perennials and asked for a replacement. I haven't received a reply - it's their busy season, so okay. But I received notice of a package arriving today. I'm very happy with the plants (obviously started from cuttings and seeds, so small, but quite healthy) and the price point. I'll order for them again.
