About

The Alberta Native Plant Council is a leading conservation organization dedicated to protecting and promoting native plants and their habitats across Alberta. Through a comprehensive approach combining outreach, publications, stewardship, advocacy, and research, ANPC works to advance knowledge about Alberta's diverse native flora while supporting practical conservation efforts. The organization offers numerous ways for Albertans to engage with native plants, from participating in plant study groups and workshops to accessing expert resources on plant identification, wetland ecology, and native plant cultivation. By funding projects, providing educational webinars, and hosting annual workshops, ANPC empowers individuals and communities to take meaningful action for native plant conservation at both grassroots and landscape scales.
