Native Plant Society

About

The Edmonton Native Plant Society is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating and conserving the rich biodiversity of native plants in Edmonton and the surrounding region. ENPS serves as the ultimate resource for native plant education and sustainable gardening practices, offering comprehensive support to seasoned gardeners, nature enthusiasts, and beginners alike. Through hands-on projects including native plant demonstration beds, restoration sites, and an urban farm, the organization actively works to preserve local native plant ecosystems while respecting the traditional knowledge of Indigenous peoples on Treaty 6 Territory. Members and volunteers are invited to participate in educational events, plant identification walks, community stewardship activities, and membership opportunities that foster a deeper connection to Edmonton's natural environment.
