About

The Idaho Botanical Garden is a 32-acre community destination dedicated to connecting people, plants, and nature across the Treasure Valley. Established in 1984 on historic grounds in Boise, the Garden has spent over 40 years cultivating environmental stewardship and creating spaces for gathering and learning. Through its diverse array of signature gardens, educational programs, and community events, the organization empowers visitors to become knowledgeable environmental stewards while celebrating the natural world. The Garden offers seasonal classes and workshops for all ages, youth education and camps, adult learning opportunities, and horticulture therapy programs. As a 501(c)(3) organization with no general government funding, the Garden relies on memberships, donations, and volunteer support to expand its mission of environmental education and community building.
