About

The Idaho Native Plant Society is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and promoting understanding of Idaho's native flora. Since 1989, INPS has worked to foster appreciation for native plant communities while collecting and sharing botanical information across all phases of plant study. Through scholarships, grants, educational programs, and community engagement initiatives, the organization inspires residents to understand and preserve Idaho's rich botanical heritage. With seven active local chapters spanning from Coeur d'Alene to Blaine County, INPS provides multiple ways for community members to get involved in native plant conservation, from participating in annual botanical forays to attending wildflower walks and plant identification events.
