Tennessee Master Gardener Program

The Tennessee Extension Master Gardener Program is a volunteer-driven educational initiative dedicated to improving the lives of Tennesseans through research-based horticulture education. With over 205,000 hours of service annually representing nearly $6.3 million in value to the state, Master Gardeners work collaboratively across all Tennessee counties to deliver accessible, science-backed horticultural information to residents. The program offers comprehensive training, resources on native plants and sustainable gardening practices, and opportunities for volunteers to connect with a nationwide network of dedicated gardening professionals dedicated to environmental stewardship.
