About

Wild Ones Greater Cincinnati Chapter is a local chapter of Wild Ones Natural Landscapers, Ltd., a nonprofit environmental education and advocacy organization dedicated to native plant conservation since 1999. For over 20 years, the Greater Cincinnati Chapter has educated the community about the critical importance of native plants for environmental health and biodiversity. The organization builds living landscapes one yard at a time, promoting environmentally sound landscaping practices across homes, businesses, schools, and roadways throughout the Cincinnati region. By establishing and preserving native plant communities, Wild Ones Greater Cincinnati works to restore the oak-hickory-chestnut forests, beech-maple forests, prairies, marshes, and specialized ecosystems that naturally evolved in North America. Members join a national movement of native plant enthusiasts—from novices to experts—who share knowledge about native plant restoration and advocate for biodiversity conservation. Through educational programs, yard tours, field trips, and community engagement, Wild Ones Greater Cincinnati Chapter empowers local residents to make a measurable difference in their landscapes and natural environment.
