About

Wild Ones Greater Cleveland Chapter is a growing nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting native plant landscapes throughout northeastern Ohio. As part of the national Wild Ones movement, the chapter educates, advocates, and takes collaborative action to restore biodiversity in local communities. By promoting native plants and natural landscapes, Wild Ones Greater Cleveland helps protect ecosystems, improve air and water quality, and provide essential food and shelter for wildlife. The chapter engages the community through monthly virtual meetings, workshops on native seed propagation and winter sowing, educational resources, and partnership initiatives like the Wild Back Yards program in collaboration with Summit Metro Parks. Members and volunteers can participate in habitat restoration efforts, attend plant identification events, and access expert guidance on native landscaping design to transform outdoor spaces into thriving wildlife habitats.
