Wild Ones Greater Richmond Virginia Chapter

Wild Ones Greater Richmond Virginia Chapter is a chartered native plant organization dedicated to promoting environmentally friendly landscaping that preserves biodiversity across the Richmond metropolitan area and surrounding counties. Seeded in 2022 and officially chartered in 2023, the chapter serves residents of Richmond and communities in Charles City, Chesterfield, Cumberland, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent, and Powhatan counties. As part of the national Wild Ones network, the organization brings together like-minded individuals committed to learning about native plant landscaping and sharing knowledge about the importance of reintroducing native plants into public and private gardens. The chapter focuses on helping local residents build habitats that incorporate native plants, support biodiversity, and increase sustainable practices that promote healthy ecosystems.
