About

Wild Ones River City Grand Rapids Chapter is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit environmental education organization dedicated to promoting native landscapes through education, advocacy, and collaborative action. The chapter empowers Grand Rapids area residents to create gorgeous, easy-care native plant gardens that provide essential food, shelter, and habitat for birds, butterflies, native bees, and other beneficial insects. By removing invasive plants, reducing lawn size, and adopting natural care practices, members contribute to biodiversity conservation and environmental healing. The organization connects people with native plants for a healthy planet through membership benefits, expert-led educational programs, field trips, native plant sales, and volunteer opportunities at their Native Plant Education Garden.
