Wonderful NC native plants at reasonable prices! All my plants are thriving and year post planting!
Super helpful, suoer friendly...willing to work with me on plants for my boss's restaurant. Talked to me extensively about native vs non-native plants, made recommendations for the area I have to plant in. Will 100% be back for myself.
Wonderful selection, worth the drive! - Lots of edible plants as well (fruit, nuts, herbs).
Located in a beautiful valley approximately 1/2 hour north of Asheville. Lots of beautiful plants and shrubs. Bought my flame azalea and R. catawabiense along with some other beauties. Well priced and a large selection of healthy plants to choose from.
Everything here is native to North Carolina, which makes plant shopping super easy if you're looking for natives. They have (or had when I went) a ton of azalea, fern, aster, and perennial options. Pull up to the front greenhouse with all the signs. That's your retail greenhouse. The others are for growing and aren't for the public. Everything inside the greenhouse seemed to be a flat $12 while everything outside was $35+. Which was both helpful and felt a bit arbitrary for the size of the plant. Still, happy with my visit and I'll definitely be back. If it's your first time visiting, take the scenic route, it's beautiful. Protip: sign up for the newsletter to see what's in stock.
