This place is amazing! Incredible expertise in all aspects of wetland management; planting to improve water quality and prevent erosion; planting native varieties to benefit the environment, wildlife and human health. Every developer and HOA in NC would benefit from working with these folks. The quality, variety and volume of their nursery plants are top of the line.
This 25 years and counting, wholesale-centric, native plant nursery is the real deal. If you need truly expert advice for large landscaping projects (I'm talking to you HOA'S!) with superior long-term results at really great prices - call them. They make nature naturally happen for you.
What a wonderful farm and nursery. A huge election of native North Carolina plants from flowering too many edible plants... Such as persimmon, pawpaw, elderberry, hazelnut and even some of the hollies. Sharon was extremely helpful giving us her valuable time to share ideas for our Land that we have cleared. We will definitely be buying plants from Mellow Marsh farm.
Large wholesale nursery, excellent prices, easily handles large orders. Native plants and trees, live stakes, wetland plants, pollinator plants and seeds. Very impressive...clean and organized. Highly recommend.
A year after purchasing native plants (Paw Paw, Elderberry, False Indigo, Oak Leaf Hydrangea, Swamp Sunflower, and a few others) the plants are absolutely healthy and thriving! Such reasonable prices and extremely helpful staff that answered all my questions and made a few adjustments before and after ordering. I"ll be back for more when my list is back above the min. for orders.
