I came across Native Plant Company while searching for a nursery near Hanover that sells native plants. I was interested in purchasing a few spice bushes and was pleasantly surprised to find this website and to discover that the business was located in Hanover. When I called the phone number listed on the site, Ryan answered right away. He was pleasant and professional, and we made a deal on the phone for the bushes I wished to purchase. He delivered them to me, we had a pleasant conversation about native plants and the benefits of the spice, bush, and then he was on his way. In the future, when I am in need of more native plants to fill my yard, to help our wildlife and this eco system we are part of, I will first look on the Native Plant Company website, and if they have what I am looking for, I will definitely purchase from them.
Ryan is the best! Not only did he hand deliver my order in person, but also caught a large rat snake for me. The snake had taken up residence at the top of my porch next to a nest of baby birds and I had been contemplating for an hour how to move it. I'm happy to report that Ryan successfully captured the snake (very calmly I might add) and I was able to safely relocate it to the woods. Thank you Ryan for the beautiful bush and the snake capture. Native Plant Company will be the first place I go for more native plants!
