They had just a few Asclepias fascicularis (native milkweed) and they were rather small. I had hoped to find a bunch to feed the Monarch caterpillars I found in my yard. Bought a couple anyway, because they don't usually sell retail and I was happy to find any at all. The staff were all busy talking to landscapers and garden designers, I really wanted to ask questions, but was unable. That was very disappointing. In general, I would recommend, as there are few native plant nurseries in San Diego County and beggars can't be choosers.
I received my String of Hearts this morning (May 24th) and she is prefect! I love Plant Mail! She was packaged expertly with zero soil anywhere but the pot. The plant itself is happy and healthy, already spilling over the sides! Thank you for a wonderful experience from CA to OH!!
I received a gorgeous coral green cactus {Euphorbia Lactea Cristata}. It was packed just right and I received it in perfect condition.
Excellent native plant nursery. The staff is very knowledgeable about any questions regarding plant placement, microclimates, soil types, sun exposure, etc. They have a great variety of native plants from all over California as well as plants that are hyper local to San Diego county. One of my favorite native plant nurseries!
The best nursery in San Diego County. They only sell native plants and they have an amazing selection. I am a landscape contractor and purchase from them wholesale regularly. Their new retail space makes for a wonderful place to browse plants and bring clients as well
