I love the variety of plants they have ♡
Ashley spent a ton of time with me helping plan out the best plants for my parkway, which is part shade, part sun. The prices are beyond reasonable. Will be back!!
Just visited Artmesia Nursery, why did I not know about this nursery before now!! All the plants are this years (not like the last years cut back ones that I just purchased at TPayne in this weeks Autumn sale 2024). There are many 1/2 gallon plants at Artmesia which are much easier to plant as they are smaller, also the shape of the 1 gallon or larger shrubs at Artmesia are much better than anywhere else. The staff are very nice too, always a plus. I am going to Artemesia to buy my CA natives from now on, no more half dead plants! Also, they have some herbs such as Tarragon and Oregano, again very fresh healthy plants.
So helpful and knowledgable! I recently moved into a home where I'm trying to plant mostly native plants in the yard. Going to Artemesia has been an excellent source of a) plants and b) info! If they don't have a plant you're looking for, they can put you on a list to be notified once they do have it. They have a small selection of houseplants as well.
Artemisia is a great source of California native plants! It appears small but they have a great selection and the plants always look really healthy. The staff are friendly and knowledgable, always happy to answer questions. Their website shows what’s in stock so you can check before you visit, along with good descriptions of the plant and what conditions it prefers etc.
