About

Wild Ones Chesapeake Bay Chapter is a community-driven native plant organization dedicated to promoting environmentally friendly landscaping practices across Southern Maryland. The chapter works to preserve biodiversity through the preservation, restoration, and establishment of native plant communities in both public and private gardens. As a chapter of Wild Ones Natural Landscapers, a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, they serve as a gathering space for like-minded individuals passionate about native plants and natural landscaping. Through educational events, community engagement, and collaborative action, Wild Ones Chesapeake Bay Chapter empowers local residents to expand their impact in the natural landscaping movement and understand why reintroducing native plants is crucial for ecological health and community resilience.
